I'm looking to buy a MIM Fender Jazz Bass on Craigslist, and the seller says there is no serial number on the guitar. Given this, he has suggested that I come try the bass in person to make sure it works as it should. Are there any ways to 1) Verify that it is a legitimate fender bass, and 2)...
