Hello! A buddy of mine gave me his Kay K1B to fix up. It needs a new bridge and pickguard. Maybe even a new pickup. Haven’t gotten that far. Bad news is, finding any of this stuff for a vintage Kay seems impossible. Any ideas on a direct replacement bridge? Or where I could get a pickguard?

I have a Hartke HA3500 combo. I love it but it is more than I need for most venues, it is heavy and monopolizes a lot of real estate. So I am looking for something smaller. I don't want to sacrifice sound quality and am hoping to trade (not here) for something smaller that might be worth around...

Two grand is definitely not an issue. When we get up beyond 5 Someone who is quite unknown who makes quality basses with decent options that won't charge 10k for a custom build.
