    Ampeg svt-av standby led blinking?

    So im playing a ampeg svt-av with a fulltone bass drive running at 18volts and the amp will suddenly stop working. Ive read that this head as a safety feature that when there is too much power to the power circuit that it basically shuts down before it ***** its pants. Is this true?
