Get a cool preamp pedal . The new Mesa subway + DI preamp II is a really nice unit that comes in right around 200 . It sounds great and is easy to figure out

The kloppmans are expensive but amazing . They came installed with my Pbass. I have never tried the Lollar p’s but I have Lollars in a jazz bass I own and they are also superb .

I like the Grizzly Bear overdrive pedal ,you can find them on here used for around 125-150. There is a very informative demo on youtube of this pedal by the bass whisperer guy.
