Oh.. You don't sound too impressed 🙄😅 I am like you in that i barely ever use drive, just a touch to beef up the sound but that's it.. I hope i will enjoy mine cuz even the NUX Melvin Lee and the Laney DigBeth are out of my budget ! Thanks for the review!

The Yamaha BB435 is up there on my gas list.. i can't afford it given the EU prices for it but i think one of those would complement my Sire M2-5st really well... In fact, the two basses i have tried in stores that have impressed me most were a Yamaha TRBX505 in white and a BB435 in Teal Blue...

I used to own one, with the red finish. It was a fantastic instrument that i regret selling. The balance was great, and i am mostly a fingers player also, never use a pick and rarely slap, and the controls never god in the way. Sold it because i was moving away from 5 string.. sold it...
