    Darkglass alpha omega ultra

From what I've seen, enabling the mod control allows you to flip between each side of the distortion (all alpha or all omega) relatively quickly...and each side is denoted by a different color LED. You can hold the button to disable this and go back to wherever the knob is currently located...

Hmmm...v3 might be the perfect bass for me. Have been looking to maybe grab a 5st, and since I don't play 5s often I didn't really want to go for the V7V (have a 4, love it) because it'd be too much for a bass that isn't used that much (would be behind the V7V and a Am. Deluxe P). But 400...

    Darkglass alpha omega ultra

Yeah, I typically really enjoy cab Sims as I pretty much just do DI stuff nowadays anyways. Without hearing it in person (which is still the plan, as the alpha omega with the graphic is great on it's own) it's always hard to tell as, of course, I would probably tweak things differently. I've...

    Darkglass alpha omega ultra

Perhaps someone might be able to convince me otherwise...but the demos of the cab simulation for this have been underwhelming at best. Pedal sounds great (I mean...the alpha omega is great and this really just improves the EQ options) but the cab Sims I've heard in every demo just make the...

How does the p7 compare to the M7 PJ setting (series humbucker neck, single bridge)? I mostly use that setup on the m7 (or flipped) anyways, and was wondering how similar/different they sounded.

Does anyone have the M7 fretless? If so is the fretboard lacquered like the V7 fretless?

Pickup wiring selection is separate from preamp, can be done in passive or active mode.

While I like the Trans-black...the natural just looks fantastic every time I see one... That and I love natural finishes on basses...I went with Trans-Black because it was different but still the ash body. Can't fight that love of a natural finish though.

I enjoy it quite a bit. The amount of USABLE tonal changes is pretty great. I mostly use it for Drop-D stuff, keeping the v7 in standard. 2 things that were minor issues: The string spacing adjustment screw on the low E was stripped when it came (which I didn't care too much about because...

Man, all these quick turnarounds on shipping seem insane. A lot of the alder models seem to have very little buy->ship times...the ash models are all long. Doesn't effect me right now since I'm set with my M7 and Vintage(I actually sold my V7 5er when I got the V7 vintage)...but if I fancy a...

This is what I meant (side dots), no pictures showed the top, only the board and bottom. I just saw it was binded, so I knew the fret lines wouldn't naturally show on the sides. It looks like both maple and rosewood are well-lacquered so using roundwounds shouldn't eat the board much either...

Anyone with a fret less that can tell me if there are side fret markers (dots or anything). Sides seem binded, and only pictures I've seen show the underside of the fretboard binding. I know they're lined, just curious if topside is marked.

Interesting that they're making microphones. Curious to see its response. Would be odd to see a bass company make a vocal or non-bass instrument mic but we'll see

While I've never had an issue with the rounder 7.25, the 12" of the M7 and my old L2k are certainly easier to mess around on. The 9.5" radius boards such as the Geddy Lee would have been better IMO but MM probably really wanted a 7.25" radius.

Spotted my first V7 in the wild. Working down at Disney, and the bass player for the Gerry Williams band was rocking a Alder V7 5st. Fun band, and their tech was a really nice guy.
