To restate my priorities: Portability is not something I can get around. I do not have, cannot afford, and furthermore do not ever WANT to have a car. So either it's portable or I don't want it. Heavy isn't a huge problem, because I can just make do with a little hand-truck or something...

I cannot overstate how important portability is. I simply CANNOT make use of anything that I can't move around one-handed.
