I agree with that last post. I've had chrome flats on my '75 j bass for 15 yrs played gigs every Friday and Saturday nights. I then gave it up for 23 yrs and dragged it out a couple of years ago and they were still OK. I have however restrung with Gibson flats but don't like them as much as the...
