Question on your settings shown as I am new to using a HPF. I have the Zoom MS 60B+. Your settings show a boost in gain at that frequency. Aren’t you supposed to cut the gain at the desired frequency???

The side cutters seem to work best for me. The seem safer too, if you go easy. Might need to get the slots ii the bridge opened up a bit

Use a pair of side cutters. Gently grip underneath the head and gently lever out using the saddle as your base.

Measured mine for fun, according to @iiipopes specs. My bass has the 3point bridge… 1) string anchor to tuner side of nut on E string - 31 3/4”. 2) string anchor to middle of E tuner post - 34 1/2”. additionally, length of winds past nut… E - 1/2”, A - 5/8”, D - 9/16”

How does the SB 112 compare to the GK MB 110/112?

Messed around with the Acoustic 370 amp sim today. Tried it with several effects and their placement in front and behind the amp sim as others suggested. Did make a difference and was able to get decent bright sounding grind to it.
