Thanks for all your advise. Have decided to get the used SR500 as I know she gets on with the Ibanez neck and the lightweight body. If she doesn't like it I can pop it back on EBay and take her shopping. I just got caught up with what great value it was at £350. Thanks again !

Looking at the Squier range, the classic vibe seems to be the best. But at £420 I'm thinking the used Ibanez 500 at £365 might be a better bet? Not sure that she will get the best out of a 5 string yet.
