    Got it, thanks a lot! I'll have a look at the drop pedal you mentioned - at this point, if I get a 3rd bass, my wife will probably tell me to sleep with them, instead of in my own bed... LOL! So, Hipshot Xtenders are a no-go?

    Hi there, everyone. So, I've read all this thread and the other one and still can't find a answer that seems adequate (if there's one) for my case. I simply want to play some songs in drop D (like Soundgarden's Outshined) and some half-step (like most Alice in Chains songs, EbAbDbGb)...
