I believe he also played on Ozzy's Bark at the Moon which, to me, was the last good Ozzy album. His playing on that record is, as always, solid and melodic.

I don't think anyone mentioned Timi "Grabber" Hanson yet. He played on the early Mercyful Fate stuff and later on the first two King Diamond solo records. I think he played mostly fingerstyle.

I always liked Steven Severin's playing with Siouxsie. Nothing too fancy and he sure made a statement with his fashion sense:D

I guess it was specified in the original post, but I seem to recall that the bass player from Dillinger 4 (Patrick is his name)didn't play a 4000 series bass. I think it was a 2000 series? Great band though and a great bassist.
