    Yeah, I still have it. The guitar player in my band is gonna try swapping his Iron Bell pedal for my Diabolik actually. Could be cool. Re: mxr filter. . . . . .I just can't seem to find a usable tone within a certain range of attack on that thing.

    I got them in March. I've always liked the mxr phase 90, just haven't been able to get effective tones from the envelope. The diabolik is the only pedal I've played from them. In the past, I've had better luck with the Source Audio envelope filter. For overdrive anyway, different than fuzz -...

    I usually play a Lakland 55-94 through a GK 800RB head with a neo 4x10 cab. If I use headphones its usually straight from my bass output.

    Hey, thanks for reminding me of that. I'd only lately thought of the active/passive question. I haven't tried a passive electronics bass through them at all yet. My Lakland is active all the way. Might have something to do with it.

    I actually love the way those diabolik videos sound online. I just can't get that thick, juicy squish fuzz, or anything like it. It's just a completely mad distortion band shag, in short. That could be good for some players, I'm sure; but I was actually going for that string squeeze/squish...
