I didn't know I could wrap the ends. Good idea. What do you use to wrap the cut off fret end? BTW I love TI Jazz Flats, they are an under recognised string.

Thanks Ric, yes you are correct, it can use the cut and screw down method. Unfortunately I hate this, the ends are so sharp that I prick my fingers easily. It also shreds the inside of the gig bag.

Riis, mine is 25mm from the closes edge of the retainer circle to the zero fret. 28mm to the middle of the retainer circle.
