Thanks guys! Based on the result, someone really excels in woodmanship. And I've got to say that the jazz pickup mod makes this bass even better for me. I have to consult the bass doc about the pickup.

It's now at the bass doctor for full body checkup. I just bought it recently so this is the only photo I've got: And yes it indeed says Bb1200 on the headstock. I'll say if that bridge pickup and the 3-way selector are someone's own mods, that's pretty fine artesanship right there.

I've got a BB1200 and it's from 1981 based on the serial number. Weird thing is that it looks just like a BB2000, meaning that it has pres/jazz pickups not only pres like shown in this pic: [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] Anyone has more info of different variations of these old BB1200...
