    Helix I am originally from San Diego born and raised there. I bought a used 58 panhead police special from them. Old SDPD bike. Grew up in Logan Heights on Keeler Street then moved to Lomita Village and finally Spring Valley. Moved to the Bay Area in 1980.

    Yes I ride and I build my own, currently building a rigid frame 131 cubic in thug motor, 157 rear wheel horsepower, Baker 6 speed trans.

    What bass model do you find to have the best playability/ease of play, and great tone?

    I have a few but my favorite is my 91 Ibanez SR 800. It’s light and a very fast neck.
