The Mustang PJ is MIM. It's priced in the same general price range as the Player series, which I believe are also MIM. The Squier Mustang bass costs even less but it's a traditional styled Mustang, not a PJ. Again, if your goal is to get a Mustang that sounds as close as possible to a P-bass...

Mine weighs 7-1/4 lbs. without strap. It also has slight neck dive, by which I mean that (with a slick nylon 2" strap) the neck wants to dive to horizontal, but stops at that point. No issues at all with a leather strap. Also, these come with Hipshot tuners instead of the obligatory Grovers...
