Thanks for your input good to hear wiring is ok. It may be that this bass simply has a stronger tone in the low register than I am used to hearing. It does shake the room on the e string! It is going through an Eden 400 traveler using compression and a little enhance into eden 112xlt plus 115...

Thanks for your replies I will try moving the p pickup/pole pieces lower. Another thought I had was if the wiring has been changed at all. Hope someone on the forum might have experience with this.
