Have you done anything with your 6 string? I can’t find replacement pickups that would fit without routing, but the pickups in it are OK.

I also have a fretless jazz with a quilted maple photo-finish, and one of the six string jazzes. But you are The SX Man! Just think, you could sell all those and still not have nearly enough for a Fodera anything.

The MVI was the standard long before Brecker. Stan Getz is another, but by the late 60s it was rare to find a tenor guy on anything else. Coltrane is known for his Balanced Action but he switched pretty early too.
