    Guitar insists on playing down a half step - What's the Deal?

    Jimi Hendrix said tuning down to e flat was the only way he could get the pesky G string to intonate properly. Others have followed suit, like S.R.V. And a capo on the 11th fret isn't very practical, so different chord forms required.

    Roto flats on my squier vm jaguar bass, short scale, are made for each other. ( and don',t chew frets)

    Squire Jaguar SS Bass with Roto flats. Love the punchiness of short scale basses. The flats play and fell great, and don't eat frets.
