    What Bass and Amp did you use in the 70's

    Rickenbacher 4001, stereo mode into a stereo Alembic F2-B preamp, into a stereo EQ, separate channels into two Crown amplifiers (DC300A and D150) driving an upper cabinet with a 12" and lower cabinet with an 18". Awesome sound!

    Very interesting. Do you have any further details about installation? ANy assistance would be appreciated. What is a Bartolini oiezo buffer?

    Yamaha TRB-5P

    I am thinking that I can improve the sound of my 1998 Yamaha TRB-5P 5-string active bass with piezo bridge pickup. Has anyone experimented with this? Results? From my research it would seem to me that the best quality onboard preamp is the German made Glockenklang. Comments and suggestions?
