I notice this bass is missing the bridge and pickup chrome guards. Anyone feel these are important other than for looks? id have thought they might get in the way more than anything?

I've gone with medium jumbo fret wire. I have tone Riet p bass pups and a vintage style wilkonson bridge on the way. It's a pain to find the replacement bus sings for the tuners at a reasonable price so I'm just going to replace them all with newies
