Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

Thanks for the link. According to the AI engine Amazon uses, it's brass. 😃 I have kept great care of my TSB-400 since I bought it new in the early 80s so the bridge is like new so why is it that I still want to purchase one of these? 😏

I can't find the bridge on Amazon. Do you have a link?

Ashdown Studio 15 owners speak up!

I just checked one out at my local Long & McQuade music store and YES, it does have an external speaker jack on the back. I snapped a photo: New photo · Saturday, Jul 4 📸 I quite liked the sound of the amp with the stores Orange bass with Pbass pickups. It has a nice full sound with the 15 and...

Aria Pro 2 TSB 550 - any good?

I am curious why someone would think a neck-through would not sound as good as a bolt-on? Wouldn't the opposite be true? Also, P basses have their pickups pretty much in the middle, like the 550 so I don't understand that comment either...? As for the medium scale, love it! :bassist:

Aria Pro 2 TSB 550 - any good?

I've been playing a TSB-400 medium scale bass since the early 80s and have yet to find a bass that plays as well and sounds as good. The sound coming out of those pickups is crazy good and the playability of a medium scale bass is second to none. The perfect balance is the proverbial icing on...

How much louder is Fender Rumble 200 vs 100

He should be able to take the XLR out and plug into the house system at larger gigs, all good! I gigged again yesterday with my overweight Peavey TNT 130, fortunately, there were only about 7 steps into the venue and 3 to getter onto the stage. It killed though! Black Widow equipped, bought it...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

My TSB-400 string spacing is ridiculously tight compared to any typical bass. I'm used to it though after playing it for 43 years. :bassist:

Amazing! Did you make that cream colored casing as well? For the life of me I could not find a replacement for my dead cream colored pickup

That's all I know, unfortunately. As for photos, you'll need to find someone that has the style of pickup with exposed pole pieces since those ones are not filled with epoxy which allows you to see the coils. Mine are filled with epoxy.

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

The MB-1 has two wires coming out of it while the E version has four wires.

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

I found this in that post: The difference between the MB-I and MB-1E is that the original's coils were all connected internally with only a two-conductor wire and a shield available. The MB-1E was all out in the open FWIW, so you could modify it for series/parallel or coil cut. Hell, since the...

Aria & Aria Pro II Club (Part Four)

Does anyone know the difference between MB-1 and MB-1E pickup? I am wondering if I can put an MB-1E in my TSB-400 to replace the dead bridge pickup. I spent all that money with Aaron for that custom pickup that I just don't like but now I have the opportunity to spend more $$$ on a factory...

Thanks! That pickup looks and sounds great I will see if there is a comparable new model in the Bartolini line.
