    I went for the P lyte. It had a chip on the back so I got it for $200. It feels and sounds amazing. I cleaned it up and I feel like I just got a great deal :bassist:

    thanks guys. I was also offered these: a Fender P Lyte bass made in japan. for a little over 200? LTD 5 String Bass guitar for 300 What do you think of these basses?

    It seems everyone agrees on the squier. If I and get a standard made in mexico jazz bass for 100 more is it that much better? (i'm not sure if this is still available) thanks guys.
