    How do tabs work

    So I've been playing bass for 7 years and was self taught. They problem is I learned to read notes not tabs. (I also sing so I just went off that) How do you use tabs? They seem very confusing.

    I know right? I mean how horrible is it that some people still like them and have a different taste in music than you do. Must be awful knowing that not everyone it the same as you.
