Do you really think this is worth the wait if there is an SR1100B that I can get for cheap in my area?

After around 7 years of my SR300 I have been looking for an upgrade. I am wondering if the SR1100B was worth the extra cash vs the SR600. I was thinking of buying another SR series bass as it would feel familiar but any suggestions for any other basses around this price range ($800-1400 USD)...
