well, not really super versed in the issue - I doubt it's back bow because the neck, when viewed downlength has a *very* slight forward curve, like most bass necks that I own. I just know that right now the only way I can keep the strings from buzzing is by having the bridge height raised so...

Have you done that with a carbon fibre/graphite neck before? I wasn't aware that was something that could be done with those types of necks given their construction. They are essentially cast from a mold.

great appreciate the offer of support. If he doesn't hear back fro Jerry I will reach out. I just replied to another member saying if its wood, I would I be shocked. I cleaned it real good and there is zero grain - it has to be manufactured.

yeah, maybe it is ebony, but it's so amazingly smooth - there is literally no grain that I can see at all. It really looks manufactured - but who knows. My guy tried reaching our to Jerry. If no response, will try Geoff. Thank you both.
