Ok Folks, got a pure tone jack today and just when I'm firing up the iron I noticed on the b/t pot one of the tiny grey wires to the lugs is disconnected. Great information! Yes a barrel is what I suspected and yes tried it with a bunch of different cables and with my more expensive cables it does it less frequently but it still exists. Any recommendations on a longer lasting barrel jack? Thanks for the information:thumbsup:

So I've found that when I plug in my bass if I move a certain and it affects the movement of the instrument cable the signal comes out distorted and extremely loud. Any thoughts?
