Greetings, my name is Tere,
I am a fulltime musician since 2001 although music had been very much a part of my life since 1986 when I bought my very first bass which was a Westone Thunder II Fretless 4. I can't say I was self taught because I learned a lot of basic techniques from records and cassettes ranging from all kinds of genres, they were pretty much my personal tutors.
At the moment, I am fulltime bass player for NZL Roots Reggae band Katchafire whom I am one of it's founding members since 1997. We've been touring the world non-stop as fulltime musicians for a decade now and continue to do so every year in various countries and states of the world.
We've released four platinum studio albums under the EMI label and are currently working on completing our 5th studio album when ever time suits our tour agenda which has us on the road playing music ten months of the year, seven of those months abroad internationally touring places like, Guam, USA, Canada, Europe, UK, Hawaii, Australia, Brazil including the Pacific Islands of Fiji and Tahiti... the list goes on and on.
Two sons, Taura 22yrs, Carlos 17yrs and a cat named Stannis Baratheon.
