    Theres a Gretsch short scale bass at my local sam ash for $150. I've been wanting a short scale for a while and this thing sounds awesome. Is $150 a good price?

    Well it's the only bass I've ever owned so I really don't have anything to compare it to and therefore don't know if I even like it or dislike since I've never had better or worse. I actually just got back into it after about a 2 year break and I want something fresh and better.

    I've been playing an Ibanez Gsr200 for about 3 years now and I'm looking to get something a little better. I don't want a huge step up but definitely something that will perform better. PS: Sorry mods if I posted this in the wrong section.
