    Bass just won't intonate, is it me?

    I know its pretty late and after the fact, but I have the same problem and have figured it out. It turns out I have a 20 fret 34" scale neck versus a 22 fret 34" scale neck. Subsequently, the 12th fret is in the wrong position.
