Remguy

50-something yr old, disabled and wheelchair-bound due to benign/inoperable tumour in spinal cord, paraplegia, chronic pain. Tennis and playing bass take my mind off my condition and put a big (S.E.) grin on my face. My older brother was a killer 70s rock bassist and bequeathed me his only bass purchase, a 1972 Fender Jazz, ashtray & pickup cover, flatwounds. He played it with a pick, but despite being an ex-guitarist, I can bring myself to do it. I like to play fingerstyle Soul and R&B, and slap to Funk and Smooth or Acid Jazz. My goal is to get better. At bass, I mean.
