I agree, would love to be able to do something like that. Not likely to happen any time soon in my case though. On the other hand it would be cool to have anyone drop by our church on such a journey as well.

I've been playing bass for just about a year now and 9 months of it has been playing with our praise team. Since I started playing Sundays, I've only been off 2 of them, the first one was the day after my wedding and the second was just a vacation week.

We had another guest preacher today. Bishop Ivan Abrahams gave the sermon at our church today. He is the Secretary General of the World Methodist Council and the man that preached at Nelson Mandela's funeral.

She's doing pretty good considering what's happened, but she's definitely going to be a while in the healing. Fortunately, the husband of one of our parishioners is a dentist and knows a specialist that is helping her. She's in pretty good spirits about the whole thing too,

One of our keyboardists fell and smashed her face against a curb. She knocked out several teeth, broke her jaw, and broke her wrist. Thinking she wouldn't be there for a while, we were all surprised when she showed up to play anyway!

Good service today! We had Bishop Wilfred Domingu from Zimbabwe as a guest preacher today. He ran a little longer than what our pastor usually does, so we ended up cutting one of our songs from the list, which was just as well as several members of the team didn't seem to prepared on that one.

Wow, that was powerful!

I was pleasantly surprised by today's performance. I, unfortunately, did not fall asleep at all last night and played totally exhausted and somehow managed to play pretty solid. Just goes to show what we can do when the Lord is with us.
