I've just purchased a 1975 jazz bass! Only problem is that when I have the all controls open the neck pickup bypass's the bridge pickup and then when I roll it off the bridge pickup is really loud! Is there any way to solve this? Rich

I'm pretty sure you could hear it in the bridge also. I see what you mean by 3 jazz bass' but yes, I thought people would be able to hear the difference between them. For me atleast there was a big difference in tones between the 3, then again I was the only one who heard all 3 in the mix. :)

I agree, there are definite tonal differences between the jazz bass'. Well done man! Those are some good ears! I was suprised people though it was the precision.

It was number 1 all along. Pickups both on, a pick and the modifications were a gotoh bridge and some better wiring so only subtle stuff really :)

The jazz bass' all sound different aswell!
