Yes, the Blackstar was all black, including the fretboard which was painted over maple. Micro dot fret markers, and mostly black hardware. Sepp

The colors are all washed out. I imagine it's not a black fretboard, it just looks that way. With the duncan pups, I doubt it sounds like a Rickenbacker anymore. Sepp

Yes, a crack in the finish that is perfectly in line with the neck body joint Wood is somewhat flexible, finishes are not. Something moved in order for the finish to crack there. It's no coincidence the crack is on the bass side either. Awesome that many of you have cracks in the same area...

Like Dane said, it's missing the jackplate and I'd watch that slight neck/body separation. Watch your string tension! Black trim is real neat and scarce. How does she sound?? Sepp
