Thanks for the help, but the problem was fixed. I use a button on the interface called "pad" which lowers the db signal from the bass by 10db - which is just enough. Time to get recording! Thanks again bro!

Yes my pro 40 has input level knobs for each input. However, when I lower it, I not only hear no distortion but I hear no bass tone! I try boosting the instrument in my daw while lowering the gain on my interface but to no avail. :crying:
