Hi, Looking at purchasing my first ever bass and have looked at Squier Affinity P-Bass (starter kit) Are these a good starting point for a beginner or are their other basses to consider. i.e. Ibanez 300 series or is that to high end for a novice. Any advice is most welcome. Cheers Brian
