    From Ernie Ball to D'addario

    When I was touring I wiped my strings with alcohol before sound check. This should handle it. And obviously you play a fresh set every show for good reason. The sound of a new set is gone after the first gig!

    MIM Fender Precision Special

    I've owned many many Fender basses in my forty years of playing bass. The PJ set up is the best sound for me. Mine is a 73 with maple neck. Out of the ten Fenders I have now it's my number one. It covers any room. Big bottom and tight as Frog p*ssy!

    US Fender Jazz bass vs. Rickenbacker 4003

    The last Ric I had was a black 1981 dot neck 2003. I wish I still had it. It really sounded great. But the neck wasn't comfortable at all. Still though Rics are great basses. I'm a lifelong Fender man and play a 73 PJ mostly now. And a Jazz with Precision neck and Barts as my alternate...
