Build myself a 2-tone sunburst with a anodized gold pickguard this year. It has the Fender CS '63 pick-up and they sound amazing

Yeah I think it does, its sounds good. Nice equal volume and tone when turning the knobs. Plus soldering isn't y strong suit so haven a prewired kit helps :laugh:

Yeah its a shame they don't make custom necks too, would have loved to get one. While I was sourcing the materials I looked at the Klein Epic '59. I compared a lot of pickups from audio clip around here. Eventually got, what I think was the best value for my money. Not looking for an exact...

Yeah was thinking of sanding the neck but these MIM necks are just perfect. Don't wanna mess with it to much . This one is a keeper so plenty years to get some wear on that neck
