As I suggested earlier, if you remove that bridge cover and the one on you P, if it has one, you'll see that the bridge is mounted further up on the body, which means the neck and head stock would wind up hier.

Measure from your rear strap pin to the bridge on both basses. I think that's where you'll find the answer. I've had my SX Jazz for 8 years now and it's been great. Volume pots were a little noisy, so changed them and put copper tape around in the control cavity.

I had a '65 Jazz, 3 Hofners, Danelectro, ...various. This has a great 34in neck, sounds great and strings through. At 71 and playing since '65, I'm through looking.
