    No bow, the first rod lasted 22 years, this one broke a few weeks in and it’s just like the metal snapped … it sucks but per my luthier it seems like the metal didn’t seem able to take any tension. The bass was perfectly awesome before that. The other side is normal and didn’t even move

    Hey guess what ! Truss rod blew up again ! This time seems to be the rod was just not strong enough, lol happened while playing too !! Back to the luthier it goes !

    yes always aware of first putting tension before adjusting, but in my case it didn’t help much. The truss rod was probably defective and the fingerboard came unglued
