    I have just about finished one of my bass's that has been built using both ' P ' and a full set of " J " pickups using switch's to go between J - P - JP and just the bridge pickup. Hope it works .

    How are single string bridges grounded?

    I thought bass and guitars no longer required to be grounded either vie bridges or the strings . I thought that thinking went out after a few musicians were electrocuted in the old days . I have built a number of basses and guitars and have never grounded a bridge, all work fine .
