I found a BTB1005 on kijiji in my area for $1000... For anyone who owns one of these, is that a good price/goodguitar? The only thing is it's a 5 string, but I've only ever played 4 string... Will the extra string be a huge difference?

How exactly dyou do that? Is it expensive?

Thank you very much for the feedback. I've read alot of reviews on the btb700, but alot of them said that the separate battery compartment door in the back is really easy to break. I ordered one in at my local Long & McQuade, and they said I can return it within 30 days for a full refund so...

I was looking at buying a btb700dx but I'm not sure about it. I had the store order one in and I made sure I had no obligation to buy it. I just wanted to ask your opinions on it and was wondering if not, what other 4-string would be good? I generally play slap and funk. Thank you very much.
