    I just like to play, plug and go, I am completely ignorant when it comes to watts and ohms etc... and I dont trust much sales people ;) seem to want to sell you more than u need :) so I wont blow up the cab ? lol

    I meant to say tone...not sound sorry... rookie here ;) guess i want something tht sounds more like an ampeg lol, should sell it all and get an ampeg then right !?

    Cant get the sound I want...

    Purchased a Hartke LH1000 head, using it with a HyDrive410, using an American Deluxe Jazz bass. I cant get the sound I want, I dont know what to do, any pointers ? I have tried a boss equalizer pedal, still no success. Not the sound Im looking for.
