    As a counter to both, I restate my original point. Thrash metal. Besides, you can get away, and often excel, playing off-stereotype in ANY genre. Anecdotal cases do not form a counter-argument to a generalisation.

    Nice guy o.O My own father keeps me away from his Thumb. I would argue that a pick is hardly an answer to bad rhythm though. My timing is much sweeter without. That's the first thing a pick compromises for me. I definitely think everyone who tries a Warwick risks falling in love with it...

    I have absolutely no problem getting up on stage with my Squier. If your instrument is throwing off your presentation, your presentation sucks. People should be seeing you play, that's the point. If you are wowing them with sound and forming good stage appeal then a glance at your instrument...

    Warwick: 'The Sound of Wood'. Warwick are not solely passive. Double bucks (dual humbuckers) can offer really nice power. Not really a fair comparison as they are on different price bands. --- I think the official line on waxing Warwicks is you should absolutely lather them in wax...
