Hola all!! I have a request. If anybody has a broken or non functional truss rod, fretted " FORCE ABT" neck from a B-2 / B-10 / B-15 / B-20 / B-30, made in Korea or by Kasuga and you are willing to send it to me for R&D purposes, I will send you one of the first production necks to replace...

That seems to be a variation of the usual Washburn 2 Band set up. The CB or Z is just the wood or finish.

K would be Kasuga, 85 =1985 . I would guess near the end of 1985 because most, as I understand it, were manufactured by Chushin. Kasuga took on production for 1986 and these models were dropped and new designs came online for 1986 before just about all went to Samick in Korea for 1987. Force or...

Score! Best of luck with it. I have wanted to try one of these out but have not physically come across any. I did own a Dean JB model but found the neck just too thin for my style. I have also always been curious about his Peavey model. I would assume they are all similar to some extent.

Just briefed your Flickr and a PG article, pretty interesting, awesome collection. If they fold you may have to up your insurance 😊 Of interest to myself is the 86 to 90 period. " I think they did most of the product line through the mid-1980s until their factory burned down. And then after...

Washburn Taurus T14 fretless truss rod

From that last pic it looks like a U channel truss rod. That type of truss and a scarf joint are Washburn / Samick staples with many of their designs.

    Mystery bass. Thoughts?

The neck and pre look very Samick-ish to me.

    Is Washburn next?

I'm a fan of their designs and always found them innovative at the price points, especially early 80s to mid 90s. I preferred what they offered vs legacy brands until purchasing Yamaha Attitudes then eventually started building my own since I always modified anything I owned anyway. I still...

The Official Washburn Club (Part 3)

From what I understand, it's a Korean era Samick format used on Hondo & Washburns manufactured by Samick. They used it on their own models a short time later. It seems pretty consistent other that the 800xxxxx.
