Could be clear nail polish. Sometimes I've seen grounding issues where the bass buzzes when you touch the pole pieces. A fix is to apply a clear coat of nail polish as a barrier between your finger and pole pieces. One way to tell would be to touch the one that seems to have not much on there...

I considered having it glued and clamped back together, but talked w/ a luthier about it and he said that he wouldn’t mess w it unless it separated more. So far, it’s been very stable.

Just discovered this today. Question - if I have a B15 head running 'ext head' out to say the effects return on a micro SVT, assuming I will need the B15 cab plugged in as well? It would be cool to just be able to take the B15 flip top head off and use it independently but don't want to blow it...
