i think i ´m in the DGCF Club. to stay... i play mainly low-brass instr.. wich are in the key of Bb... this means that my ears are formed in Bb, since i was 10 y old. when i play an open C on the trumpet (no valve´s pressed) it sounds as Bb on a piano. thats why it´s called a Bb instrument...
