After trying different sounds out on different basses, I found myself between a jazz bass, a p bass, or a stingray. I have decided that I think the stingray will suit me the greatest because of its sound and the cool tones you can get out of it. But the problem is that Ernie Ball Music Man...

So I love the sound that a fender precision bass produces, but I don't think I'd get one just because of the lack in variety of sounds. Sure there are the PJ basses, but personally I would rather buy from something that's got even more variety in tone options like something from a Jazz bass...
