Is it possible to go DI from your amp's head? I know I play in a Progressive (I swear I'm not pretentious) Metal band and whenever it's reasonable I go DI from my RB700 head. I preserve the tone I want and it's cheaper than buying a mic or seperate EQable DI box.

I always had a pretty negative preconception towards all Squire basses until when a close bassist friend suggested a Squire Classic Vibe Jazz Bass. I absolutely love it and I think it was worth every penny. The sound is comparable to the actual fender and I haven't had any real major problems...
